Educ8 are working with a new , Special Needs school based in South London. Due to rapid success and expansion, the Governors are seeking a qualified English teacher to join them to deliver and facilitate dynamic, creative and active lessons.

The ideal candidate would be able to contribute to the development and improvement of pupil’s participation in learning and wider school life

To achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes for all pupils at School

To develop a cohesive and personalised programme of learning for all pupils so that agreed outcomes are achieved in year and at the end of key stages.

To support the Senior Leadership Team in creating lasting improvement in the quality of provision and the management of Literacy through professionalism and high expectations.

To develop measures to ensure a calm and productive working environment so that pupils can achieve their potential – to develop the whole person focusing on self-worth and achievement of personal goals.

To support the vision and strategic direction of the School by providing outstanding opportunities across the curriculum for all leaners and thus promoting a love of reading and lifelong learning

To enable outstanding progress and attainment by ensuring that attendance of all year groups is good and at least in line with school averages

To lead the literacy components of the intervention model across all year groups through the promotion and co-ordination of effective support for pupils who need additional support to make age related standards in reading, writing and comprehension.

Requirements

Right to work in the UK

Must be a qualified English teacher with QTS,PGCE or equivalent

(NQT’s and Mainstream teachers are also strongly encouraged to apply)

£28,113 – £36,035 per annum, negotiable
